YELLOW ROOM NIGHT PART 3 at FREEDOM BAR

It was YELLOW ROOM NIGHT 3 once again at Freedom Bar last Wednesday night, August 28,2013. Me and my dorm-mates were there and took some dose of pure OPM music and to watch some neoteric artist from "The Yellow Room" founded by Monty Macalino of Mayonnaise.

I was pretty enthralled by the line up last night starting from the band "Sinaja" from which their pianist also play for Mayonnaise.

Circa takes on the second set and there goes this pretty Em singing one of my favorite songs "Habang Buhay".

After their prodigious set, I was such in awe to saw Madhatter day last night! I don't have any idea that they're on the line up ! Mind to tell you guys, this band is wicked! Their music is extraordinary which made Pulp invited them to play at Bazooka Rocks Festival last August 25 at SMX Convention Center.

Plus the good-looking guys headbanging at the same time

After their cracking performance, here goes one of my favorite Yellow Room Band "Ferown"

Danita never failed to set the mood in the room which makes the night extra special!
What makes them interesting is that their song choice is pleasing to everyone's ear *Yung tipong pang LSS :-)

Next to Ferown was Paraluman.
Sir Monty joined and sang "Emily"

Madz, the vocalist's singing voice is just surreal. Reaching those high notes is just effortless. Recherche, i can say :)

And last but not the least, the band I've been waiting for the entire night ...

Ladies and Gentlemen, MAYONNAISE!
Meet the members :)

Sir Monty

I'll never get tired of blogging when it comes to gig exploring here in the Metro. This reputable, super eminent band remained humble and kept true to their music for almost nine years. Everytime they perform onstage, they put different styles and totally eargasmic songs plus Sir Monty's voice which is really rad and exceptional makes them as my NUMBER 1 list as my favorite OPM band.

Post Gig Depression

Oyeah! Haven't slept for two consecutive days, feeling groggy wooo but I decided to blog anyway :-)
Went to 70's Bistro last tuesday, August 13 to watch Silent Sanctuary, Join the Club, Ron Henly, Ferown and Tanya Markova; ( awesome line-up aye )

Hi Sarkie

Photos from my other Memory card was corrupted so here are the only pictures left. Very lucky me :-) Valeen Montenegro and Dominic Roco was here.

It ended at around 2pm then stayed at Jollibee Stop and Shop to sleep!!!!!!!!!!!!! Went to dorm by 5:30AM, woke up at 5pm, took a bath, ate dinner at 7 then went to SaGuijo Makati for the Yellow Room Night.

Support Pinoy Rock

Went to gig with these awesome people. From the left: Florian, Lia, Pau,Erick, Allyson and Jhen :-)
The lovers lol :-) HAHAHA

SISIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGIG
Florian with Arci :-)

First to perform was the band "Pitik"

The beat, the vox, dim lights, everything is just epic
then here goes the amazing set of Circa who just successfully launched their MV of "Habang Buhay"

Elusive :-)

FEROWN was next onstage
 SOUNDCHECK!

No doubt, they're really good. Watched them for the 4th time and they just keep on getting better. This debussy Danita Paner caught some foreigner's attention that night and she's really funny. She kept on translating their song titles and those cutie-patootie guys kept on giggling.

Then Paraluman...

Madz singing voice was serene yet rock. The sustain part in the end is just amazing. Their song "Kapitan" was listed on my favorite song especially the acoustic one I heard on soundcloud.

Remember this guy?
He's the vocalist of Stonefree; Miro Valera who is currently on SOLO now. What he performed is amazing! Differs from others cause he did an acoustic one! "Mej kinilig sa boses" when he sung Coldplay's"The Scientist". He sounded like one from the "Boyce Avenue" :-)

And tadaaaaaa! Finally been waiting for them to perform :-)

MAYONNAISE!
That first strum brought me exuberant! "Bakit Part 2" just penetrates in me. I don't know why.
Jaunty singing with "Tayong Dalawa" "My Hero" "Jopay" and "Torres"
Hi Sir Monty ( the boss )
Thanks for inviting us :-)
The perfect handling of a guitar :-)))))))))))))))
Hi there guy with the STOKEDINC cap! :)

Gears are WOW! HAHAHA

Yellow Room Artists, I salute you for bringing a non-dreary night to me and my friends! You are bringing OPM to the next level and I'm so happy to watch you perform LIVE! The feeling when I pause and looks pensive because everyone is just doing their thing :-)
( Even foreigners are amazed because you all sound good )

I suggest everyone to come and watch at local gigs in the metro. (Stess reliever sweaaaar AHAHAHA)
